These drawings represent life and death, a theme i have been thinking about a lot lately. I think rituals are our way of giving death one last rebirth and practicing rituals is innate and in our blood. The desire to honor the soul that was once in our bodies is a language of it’s own, filled with dances, trances, bells and masks. In these drawings i wanted to depict the haunting effect of our desperation over the mystery of death.
